In accordance with UK health records standards, we typically retain adult clinical records for 8 years after your last treatment. For children, records are kept until their 25th (or 26th) birthday. After this period, data is securely destroyed.

- Rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Erasure: Request deletion (Note: This may be limited by our legal obligation to keep medical records).

Necessary Cookies are required for features like our booking forms to work. Without these, the website may not perform as expected. We also use Optional Cookies to see which pages are most helpful to our patients; however, these track usage anonymously.

- Encrypted Storage: All digital patient records are stored on Cliniko, which uses industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
- Access Control: Access to your data is strictly limited to authorised clinical and administrative staff who require it to perform their duties.
- Physical Security: Any paper-based records are kept in locked, fire-resistant filing cabinets within a secure facility.
- Secure Communications: We use encrypted email services or secure portals when sharing clinical information with other healthcare professionals.
- Data Breaches: We have procedures in place to handle any suspected data breach and will notify you and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) where legally required.

Online Bookings
Please note that all appointments requested through our website are provisional until verified by our reception team. We will confirm your booking via text message or email, typically within one working day.
If you have not received a confirmation within this timeframe, please contact us directly on 01276 37670 to ensure your request has been processed.
Important: Our online system is for scheduling only. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please refer to our Cancellation Policy below, as cancellations cannot be processed online.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible by calling 01276 37670 or emailing mail@goodspodiatry.co.uk.
We kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any changes. This allows us to offer the appointment time to other patients who may be in urgent need of care.
Please note: If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, a cancellation fee may apply.
